Voters have delivered a split decision on Lampasas ISDs $139.6 million bond package.
Unofficial results released by Lampasas County show Proposition A passed, while Propositions B and C were rejected.
Proposition A — the largest portion of the bond at $115.5 million — earned 53 percent support.
This measure funds a new middle school for 1,000 students, demolition of the current campus, safety and security upgrades at all three elementary schools, and the replacement of about 35 buses.
District leaders have said these projects address aging facilities, enrollment growth, and transportation needs.
Proposition B, a $21.5 million package for a new multi‑purpose facility, a covered band pavilion, traffic improvements, and upgrades to maintenance and transportation buildings, failed with 60 percent voting against.
Proposition C, a $2.5 million proposal for track and field repairs and deferred maintenance at Badger Field, also failed, with 61 percent opposed.
With only Proposition A approved, the district will move forward on the new middle school ,demolition of the current campus ,buss upgrades and safety projects, but fine arts, athletics, and facility upgrades tied to Props B and C will not advance unless brought back in a future election.
